Lina Smith and Kane Bailey are both wielders of an ancient magic. They'd grown up together and were almost an age where they'd have to leave the orphanage they called home but now that they'd both received letters that they were admitted to Hogwarts as fifth years... where will their journey take them? They'll have to tear apart their original plans and expectations to see.
In this, there won't be much canon divergence other than writing in a secondary main character. Both Kane and Lina fit in the main character role and therefore the story will swap between their perspectives at times. Those will be the only two perspectives to not make it too confusing but there will be other new characters of my own creation added to the story that will change it slightly or heavily depending on the scenes. It had been over a year since everything unfolded with Ranrock, but there were so many loose ends. Poachers out for revenge, the ancient magic that still slumbered inside the now seventh-year Slytherin Elena Varris, and of course, Sebastian. What had been perceived as an eighteenth birthday owl from Ominis turns out to be a request for help. Sebastian had been doing much better after the incident with his Uncle, but has suddenly appeared to begin slipping again. But she doesn't know how she could possibly help.
