Steve Rogers has been on the run for a year. He has started to get very disgruntled about how he has been treated.
He had never thought about doing anything bad, he always had to be "Captain America", an overly noble guy that didn't like when people swore and was always doing the "right" thing, an example to all.
He didn't want to be that person anymore - living a nomadic life has made him a little bit feral, and it was starting to become an inch that he needed to scratch.
It isn't until he sees a girl, a simple girl living in Oakley, Utah where he is hiding out. She seemed gentle and kind - working as a vet, and living alone.
For reason's he couldn't figure out he was going to introduce himself to her, but not as Captain America, but someone else.

First, this is a fanfic for Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and Steve Rogers/Captain America. Second, this will kind of go through the MCU timeline but not a lot. Working with Tony wasn't easy, especially when you also have to keep up with S.H.I.E.L.D, along with perks among you no one knew. You and Tony began to rebuild your relationship until you met Steven Rogers and felt something different. She finds out he is Iron Man a couple weeks later and that he is in New York, so she goes into a mission to find him, she was in Kansas this whole time, one day they run into each other, but he soon comes to realize that she isn't the innocent barely teenager she once was. She is now a strong independent woman, who has been through hell and back again. He finds out what happened to her almost 8 years they were apart. She soon meets Steve Rogers or Captain America, and her world goes upside down once again. He is nice, caring, independent, and soon she opens up to him, slowly feelings stay to appear, that is, more then a friend, way more then a friend. This is an Avenger fan fiction but in my own way, it's not going to be like any other Avenger's book you've read, and I hope you all like this book.
