Jel itches to prove himself as a designer worthy of the Omiata name, so when Magistrate Eshe approaches him with two commissions for the upcoming Bahari Ball, he beside himself with joy. That is, until he learns one of those dresses will go to a Human meant to attend as a representative when Jel will likely be barred from attending for another year.
He only hopes the Human is worth the effort.
Solise Noronna has one problem on her mind. Securing a shepp before Kilima Village decides she isn't worth the investment. Now, if only she could make a meaningful connection to make that happen. When Magistrate Eshe announces she will be attending the Bahari Ball as the Human representative, they strike a deal.
