This made her to question God's love for her; 'where was He?' she asked herself. However, it wasn't because God didn't exist, she just had no personal relationship with Him. Ashley was one of those Christians who had one foot in the world and another in the church. She desired everything that the world had to offer her as a talented artiste but also desired to keep her relationship with God. This turmoil made her make many painful and wrong decisions due to her desire for quick success.
