NOTHING IS FREE, EVERYTHING COMES WITH A PRICE
When a physical heart is wounded, we go to a cardiologist. But when our inner self is wounded, who can save? Growing up in a poor family never limited Ashley Ravine from wanting to get the best in life. However, her traumatizing childhood made her grow up with many inner wounds but this didn't stop her from wanting to impact society through her music. Growing up, all she had was God. However, it wasn't easy because some people question His existence, some blame Him for their misfortunes, some don't care about knowing Him while others have completely abandoned Him. But Ashley, never easily gave up on Him since she grew up in a Christian family.
However, when she grew older, she realized that life was not always a bliss; life has tribulations, life has disappointments, life has trials. However, she didn't know how to deal with all this because she kept encountering tragedy after tragedy. As a teenager, her passion was to be an artiste until everything changed after a talent show when she was raped by a prominent business man. This made her to question God's love for her; 'where was He?' she asked herself. However, it wasn't because God didn't exist, she just had no personal relationship with Him. Ashley was one of those Christians who had one foot in the world and another in the church. She desired everything that the world had to offer her as a talented artiste but also desired to keep her relationship with God. This turmoil made her make many painful and wrong decisions due to her desire for quick success. She passed through fire until she asked herself, 'is this what i want, or i am just pleasing everyone except myself........!

Sydney didn't have much, but that was fine with her. She didn't need much. Growing up on the Washington coast in a lonely beach town, working quietly behind the scenes was what she was good at. Living on the beach was much less glamorous than most people imagine. Her home was a beat up old Winnebago that she had shared with her father until he passed. Her father had been a detached parent. He loved his daughter of course, but he was by no means an affectionate man. She had grown up fending for herself, working backstage at a bar that hosted live bands using a fake ID. After the death of her father she saw an ad for a guitar technician for a local Seattle band. A love of rock and roll had been the one thing that her and her dad had in common. Selling everything that she didn't need she packed up her pickup truck and travelled north to the city, leaving the sleepy town in her rear view mirror. She didn't expect to embark on what would become the adventure of a lifetime. For someone who had hardly left the town she grew up in, the opportunity to get paid to travel the country and listen to great music was a dream come true. The band became her family, and life on the road was a perfect fit for her. Chris Cornell instantly became Sydney's best friend in the whole world. They were in love, that was plain as day to anyone who paid attention. Yet, sometimes love isn't as simple as it should be. Sometimes, love hurts. This is my truth by KristinaFigolah

My life has been an intense journey from a little girl who was beaten down and abused into believing that she was worthless, to a woman at 43 years of age who is still desperately searching for who she truly is. I found her though. I did. And she writes like me, from inside of me. She is me. This girl that I've been in love with since time first existed, is indeed me. The way that she walks. With her hands... and how she talks? The hearts that she's captured, the souls that she has inspired. I'm now trying to be her. I've never felt that I was good enough to actually be myself!!! I always knew how pure and clear and free I was inside. But people told me otherwise, in a very cruel way. No one ever spared my feelings or thought to speak to me with kindness or love. My parents were very serious and strict people. They believed that there was only 1 way to act and inside I knew that I did NOT fit in the parameters of the behavior expected of me. And every single time I made my Step Daddy sigh or frown it felt like I knife in my heart. I was a let down. Always too loud. Always moving too much. Always too fat and always too ugly. Always too much. Unless I sat quietly. But I've always been a firecracker and all of that containment really made me want to blow off! All of what was inside of me, swirling and dividing in me. Burying the side of me that I loved the most! I was a bastard and a blasphemy. Harsh words for a girl of 3. They said them when they baptized me.

[BWWM] I was only twelve years old when the world turned cold. The day my mom died in that car accident, I felt like someone had dumped a bucket of ice water over my heart. My dad, who had always been my hero, suddenly became a stranger, filled with rage and blame. He couldn't see that I was hurting, too; he only saw me as a reminder of his loss. The accusations cut deep. He said it was my fault for being there, for not doing something to save her. For being the reason she was in the car in the first place. In the years that followed, things only got worse. The abuse started gradually-a harsh word here, a shove there-but it escalated, leaving scars that I carried long after the physical pain faded. I was drowning in my own despair, struggling to keep my head above water while my father's anger raged like a storm around me. I only had a break from his anger when I started living with Aunt Dina-my mom's older sister. Well, that was because she found me nearly dead on my bed after I took a dozen pills. I was tired of living. I had hit rock bottom. The harsh whispers that followed me around and the stares at school. I pretended not to notice, like it didn't bother me. But it did. I was alone. Then came Athalia, a ray of sunshine cutting through my darkness. With her, I felt something I hadn't felt in years-happiness. She became my light through the darkness and my lifeline. ••••••••••• ● Warnings ⚠️ ~ Mention of suicide ~ Anxiety attacks ~ Rape attempt ~ Mention of self-harm ~ Depression

Bliss. Delight. Contentment. Euphoria. Elation. Joy. Glee. Felicity. Jubilation. These are all words synonymous to the word happiness. But what is true happiness? Happiness is that feeling of butterflies fluttering around in your chest, trying to break out. Happiness is that invisible fluid rushing in your veins, making you shiver in the most wonderful way. Happiness is the force that pulls your cheeks up into the widest smile and makes your eyes twinkle. Happiness makes you light-headed and giddy, it is in fact like alcohol. Well then, I am utterly and completely drunk. When you're happy, everything feels amazing. Even small insignificant things like getting up in the morning. The golden hue of sunlight streaming in through the curtains feels like a soft caress from the hand of a lover. The birds seem to chirp sweetly outside, a melody to which the leaves sway as if mesmerised by their music. The curtains tango with the wind beautifully. Every little thing seems perfect. And that's a word I'd use to describe my life. Perfect. To give you a little introduction about me, let me start by explaining the most important aspects of my life. I have a loving family. There's my sarcastic, yet surprisingly sweet brother, my beautiful mother (both in looks and spirit) and my stern, yet humorous father. I have the best best friend, Charlotte and I have an amazing boyfriend, Theo. I'm quite beautiful and popular too which I'm not saying to brag, I'm just stating the truth. So that is my life. The life of Tia-Jade Garcia. *** What she didn't know was that every high has a low and that the higher you rise, the lower you fall and the more painful that fall is. Follow her story as she loses everybody she ever cared for and thereby her happiness. See her fight all of her demons by herself. Watch her fall in love...with herself because the only person's love you'll always need is yours. This is her self-love story.

When she was little, Alexis had it all. Rich parents who she believed in her heart loved her more than anything else, a huge house, a Nanny to take care of her while her parents were at work, and anything else she needed or wanted. And then, one night that she thought would be like all the others tore all of that apart. Now, she and her mother barely make enough to stay alive, their poverty heavily due to her mom's nights in the bar, forgetting about life. Younger siblings come, then leave in abortion, through Alexis's mother's love life, and the one person she'd actually learned to trust again is newly dead by cancer. And her mother has just remarried the person she used to call "Daddy". Her only real friend is the razor that stays in her pocket or on her arm through the thick and the thin of life. Then, while her parents are on their honeymoon after getting remarried, with nothing to do and oblivious of the religion... or relationship... behind the bands she's going to see, Alexis goes to a little concert by the name of Winter Jam, with no real concept of what she's seeing besides a love of Skillet, a bare idea of Britt Nicole, and the songs she listens to by NF on her way there. When a chance meeting with a stranger turns into getting drug to the meet-and-greet line for a not-so-chance meeting with Colton Dixon, Alexis has no idea that it will change her life forever. But with a leading of Holy Spirit on his heart, and a glimpse of Alexis's arms under her sleeves burning in his memory, Colton finds it impossible to stand oblivious to the downward spiral he can see in Alexis's life. But it's a spiral she gave into long ago, and it will take every ounce of strength either of them has in them for Alexis to rise above the world and into the arms of Christ.
