On Equal Footing

Avantika Singhania, lovingly called Anika by her dear ones, the youngest child of the Singhania family was a brash, outspoken, kind yet shrewd minded business woman. She was the adored child, being the only girl between three boys. With her mother not in the picture, she was reared dominantly by her dadi to staunchly uphold the family values and to hold herself to high ideals. Yet, in a sudden tiff with her dadi and the rest of the family, she leaves behind her name and comfort of her lavish lifestyle and adopts the name Anika, Sirf Anika.

Shivaay Singh Oberoi, the arrogant, tadibaaz, handsome businessman, was the oldest son of the Oberoi family. Well respected by his siblings, elders and the populace, Shivaay was considered the most eligible bachelor of the year, being the CEO of the Oberoi Corps., however he remained unattached and seemed to allow only his family close. To him, naam, khoon, khandan mattered more than romantic love and affection.

So when these two seemingly different people collide, unexpected sparks fly and tension between them becomes palpable, seen by all around them except themselves.
