Her Shadow

"Why did you do that"? I asked
"Do what"? he replied
He is doing it again. "why did you kiss her in front of me"
"I really really like her" he replies
Noooo. You can't like her.
You cant like anyone but me
"As much as you like me"?! I say,
I could already hear my voice breaking as I hold my breath for his reply
"As much as I would want that" he says not meeting my eyes
"No love, I could never like anyone as much as I liked you"
"Don't say it in past tense"!! I shout
It can't be possible.
"You still like me! Me!! Not her but Me!!!" I cry hitting his chest
"You promised" my voice now low to a whisper
"You promised it was a-al-always gonna b-b-be us, no one else! Only us (Name) & (Name) forever but you are breaking it"
I couldn't hear myself anymore, everything goes black and all I see is just a blur of his face.
He is saying something but I can't understand what he is saying, he is now shouting and reaching out for me but I am loosing balance.
It's happening again isn't it.
I can feel it
My shadow pulling me towards the darkness
The darkness we were not supposed to leave.
Cause that's where we belong.
In the dark where no one can find us.
Can hear us
He was right..
I can never leave this shadow can I?
Cause at the end of day, I will always be back to that same shadow
