Caitlyn's father died before she was born which left her mother heartbroken. She makes a mistake and ends up getting pregnant again right after Caitlyn is born. Caitlyn always came in second to her step sister Brianna. After a while Paul, Caitlyn's stepdad, becomes very abusive and starts beating her.
