In this coming of age story, Cherri must overcome her trauma to learn how to let people truly get to know her. Her abusive mother has left her in fear of getting close to everyone. Despite this, Mason is dead set on sneaking his way into her life. This is the story of Cherri learning how to grow up, overcome her obstacles, and let love into her life. This story will be updated every Friday. Warning: This story contains violence, abuse, hospitals, running away, underage drinking, blood, and drug use. Life is not always a fairytale and this story is meant to be more realistic. This story shows the darker side of life that some people are exposed to growing up. If you want a perfect happy after this is not for you. While this is a romance and our two characters are destined to come together, it is more realistic instead of once upon a time. This is the first draft, so if there are any errors let me know please.

It's easy to run from your problems, but they inevitably catch up. Freedom. Adventure. No Restrictions. From birth, the human mind is tethered to these ideals. Threatening to run away as a kid to wanting to travel the world as an adult. It takes years to get a taste of these things, and when it finally comes, it's short-lived. Hayden, a fresh high school graduate with an itch for photography, something that wasn't mutually accepted by his mother. She always compared him to his military-serving older brother, Jack, who had set the standards of what was to be expected. In a last resort attempt, Hayden has to make the most significant choice of his life and does what he always threatened to do as a kid. Run away. With the help of a misfit-like individual, Hayden goes on an adventure of a lifetime. While unaware that his past is catching up to him. He'd inevitably have to decide how he wanted to live out the rest of his days, either as an office prisoner or a runaway.
