Task Description:
You will write a memorable short story to submit to a publication.

For this short story, you can write in any genre you like and about any topic (except that it must be "school appropriate"). However, you may not submit a story that you have already submitted for assessment, especially for a previous English class.

Directions: Write your own creative short story; your goal is to submit your short story to a writing competition or literary journal. The minimum word count for your story is 1000 words. Assessment Criteria: B, C, D.
