Scarlett Young was alone when San Francisco fell, the bombs quaking the ground beneath her heavily treading feet as she ran for her life. The government wasn't coming to save us, they were exterminating us. Her only concern is finding her mother, clutching a flier to a ranch just by the border, and a limp in her leg, she braved herself for the journey.

Will she find comfort in psychotic cerulean orbs? Will she allow herself to become vulnerable? Or will she harden into stone cold steel upon what she finds left for her at the ranch?...

Slow burn, mystery trope, mature themes given it's an apocalypse. Some themes may be too graphic for young readers, 16+ lets say. I know you'll read it anyways but just a precaution.

I obviously don't own the masterpiece Ftwd but Scarlett and her plot are plucked from my own noggin and shan't be copied. Ily. Xoxo

"Three weeks. That's how long I got to have drama-free. I'm not sure what is happening to me or to Oakwood. Nothing's the same since I rolled into town and it just keeps getting weirder. Suspicious agents in suits roam the streets without an explanation. They're staring straight at me. The new Chemistry teacher is NOT who he says he is. I'm doing things I never thought I could. Like, mutant-level things... Lauren, Luc's dead twin sister, hid something from everyone. Something important that may have lead to her demise and that could lead to ours. Hunters are in town. I never knew four words could contain so much dread and terror. I'd rather deal with the Wanderers. I'm on the brink of a breakdown. I need help..." BOOK #2 IN THE SERIES! Ignorance is not bliss... In the wake of ridding Oakwood of Wanderers, other dangers come creeping in and they're somehow linked to Luc's absent twin. The past returns to haunt the mutants in inconspicuous ways. Riley's life is yet again in jeopardy, but this time she's not alone. Luc and his family are all thrown into the teetering balance. More secrets are uncovered. A trap dawns on them all. Invisible threats start crawling from all directions. Who is the real enemy? TW : behaviours of depression and PTSD are displayed. I don't name them, but one of the character will be struggling a lot. It may not be suitable for everybody. Other adult matters are briefly included, but nothing explicit or intense. Rewriting specifications : the main points of the story and end of the book will remain the same, am just going to change a few ways of getting there and adding some extra spice. Feel free to pause the read until the REWRITING sign disappears.

Book 3: Flesh And Bone "You said you had my back." Cristine felt her scalp tingle, neck and facial muscles pulled tight. This conflicting feelings of helplessness and being cornered annoying her greatly. Everything Troy said made her angry and if it was before she wouldn't care about any of this. She'd stay as far away from him as possible and watch it all crash and burn before escaping with her family. But they had a mutual respect for one another now. That's what Cristine liked to believe until Troy smashed it like some cheap vase in barely a few days. Cristine felt betrayed and sickened by his actions. She should have been used to people disappointing her, but this time hurt her more than usual and Cristine didn't understand why. "Was that a lie?" Troy asked genuinely. "No," Cristine felt something tickle at the base of her throat and her eyes stung. "But I'm not going to pretend that what you did is okay. It'll never be okay Troy. Do you get that?" WARNING: Mature and triggering themes will be present in this story. It's The Walking Dead universe, so that's to be expected. So if you're easily triggered, please don't read this. I won't be placing any trigger warnings in my chapters. I only own my original characters and the non-canon plots of this story. Fear the Walking Dead Season 3 | Troy Otto x OC

(New chapter every Friday!) Y/n a single mother in a world that doesn't care if kids survive. He's a hunter with nothing left but instincts and scars. She's trying to build something soft in a world gone sharp. He's not sure he remembers how to hold anything without breaking it. A slow slow-burn starting in Season 2. Featuring found family, emotional healing, and a young girl who doesn't stop asking questions. Note: This fic contains violence, gore, and themes consistent with The Walking Dead. I'll do my best to include specific warnings at the start of chapters that contain more sensitive material. I do not own The Walking Dead or its characters. This story, including Ivy, Meg, and this interpretation of Y/n, are my original creations.
