Magna and Luck are reunited after the Magic Knights defeat the Spade Kingdom's Dark Triad. After witnessing Gadjah and Charlotte confess their feelings for Lolopechka and Captain Yami, Luck reflects on how much he'd missed Magna over the past few months and just how happy the fire mage makes him.

"I like your warmth, stupid Magna." Luck mumbles sleepily. "If it bothers you, you can shove me off anytime..." It comes as easy as breathing. Luck's body pressed against his like this, their limbs tangled with each other's, and his rough, calloused hand holding a smaller, slender one. It's just like how things always are between them. Afterwards, them, Asta, and Noelle were sent out on a mission to obtain something the Captain needed and returned with a boy named Clovis Andino. Over time, Magna was growing more close with this newcomer than expected. Luck then felt... "abandoned"... if that's what you'd call it. He tries pushing away all of these feelings of jealousy bubbling inside of him, but he couldn't help it. Is this newcomer actually who they thought he was?
