Resident sunshine and hopeless romantic Noor ul ain is the beloved light of her family's eyes, known for her cheerful nature and willingness to please. She wears the weight of expectations like a crown, afraid to disappoint those who cherish her. The only person who can't stand her bubbly personality is her lifelong neighbor Zunair Yusuf. Broody, cynical, and as "I-don't-believe-in-love" as it gets, Zunair sees right through Noor ul ain's happy-go-lucky facade and is convinced her every laugh is a defense mechanism. But when Noor suddenly undergoes a traumatic experience, her laughter fades into silence. And Zunair Yusuf is the only one who was there after it happened. Disturbed by the drastic change in her demeanor, Zunair is determined to find out what happened to Noor ul ain. And as Noor spirals into depression, she finds comfort in reading an old journal from an estranged family member, a woman whose harrowing story Noor feels deeply connected to. As Zunair embarks on his mission, he finds himself growing close to both the faith he had detached from years prior, and the girl he thought he despised. And as Noor connects with someone she's never known, the generational trauma she had contributed to suppressing begins to break the surface, revealing the strength within her to confront the past and forge a path towards resilience and healing. #1 in islam: 4/7/25

When twenty-seven-year-old Ziyana Raza's cousin is dumped by her fiancé with a messy excuse, it's Ziyana's last straw. A former hopeless romantic-now disillusioned by too many betrayals and heartbreaks-Ziyana abandons all notions of true love and vows to remain single forever. "Forever" meaning as long as her Pakistani Muslim family's patience for her singlehood thins. Besides, she's too busy hating her grueling corporate job as a data analyst to focus on anything else. And as long as she convinces herself that love is an anomaly, she'll be fine. It's safer to be alone than blindsided by heartbreak, anyway. But right when she's settling into a somewhat comfortable routine of avoiding men and scoffing at the idea of marriage, Shahzain Shah barrels into her life. Charming, good-natured, and a little too observant, the new Business Intelligence Manager of her company seems determined to crack Ziyana's armor. But as much as his compassionate nature gets on Ziyana's nerves, he also...somehow knows all the right things to say. Sees through her facade of being strong 24/7 and appreciates her hard work. Befriends her brother and respects her parents. Makes her laugh even when she's trying desperately to hold it back. She can't help but reminisce that an old version of herself would have thought Shahzain checked all the boxes for a potential spouse. Too bad she's dead set on her mission...right?
