The sun had dipped below the horizon, leaving the park cloaked in the soft embrace of twilight. Ty and Loel found themselves standing at the edge of a tranquil pond, the water shimmering in the fading light.

Without a word, Ty stepped closer to Loel, their bodies inches apart yet drawn together by an invisible force. He reached out, his fingers grazing Loel's cheek with a feather-light touch, sending shivers down Loel's spine.

In response, Loel leaned into the touch, his breath catching in his throat as he felt Ty's warmth radiating against his skin. With a soft sigh, he closed the distance between them, their lips meeting in a gentle kiss that sent sparks flying.

Their kiss deepened, passion igniting between them like wildfire as they lost themselves in each other's embrace.

Once Grayson and I reached my home, he stayed for a moment longer. I stared up at him, he reached out to me, and tucked a lock of my hair behind my ear. I blushed as his fingers brushed against my skin. He tilted my chin up towards him. I shuddered and looked up at him through my lashes. I lightly gripped his upper arm. His face hovered over mine. His hot, shallow breath against my lips made me shift. He slipped his other arm around my back, and pulled me gently towards him. "Lyla..." My name on his lips felt like I was lighter than air. The part of me that is trying to resist this kicks in, "Grayson... no, I-I can't." I whispered. I was surprised how my smooth and innocent my voice was sounding. My plea just made him hold me tighter, "And why not?" He asked gently. His eye bore a hole in me, right in the center of my heart. The place that wanted me the most to love him unconditionally and to hold onto him and never let him go. "Because May will be mad." I replied. I closed my eyes, bracing myself for the warmth of his lips to overwhelm me. He stayed where he was, his lips just out of reach. He was teasing me. I opened my eyes, and looked into his. The cunningness and he way he flattened his eyelids over half of his eyes made me shudder in excitement again. There was something else in his eyes. Something I've never seen before. He was looking at me in a way no other man and ever. "I don't care about her anymore." He whispered against my lips.

I watched the water drip down his nose and onto his beautiful full lips. I craved the warmth of his touch. The rush of our connection. Regardless of how wrong it would be. I couldn't resist it any longer. I stepped closer, covering the flush of his cheeks with my hands to feel their heat and pressed my lips firmly against his until it hurt. Dylan gripped my waist and pulled me into him, sealing the space between us. I secured my arms around his neck, brushing my fingers through his soft, luscious hair. I didn't allow anything else to matter. Not the voice that told me this was wrong. Not the guilt. Not the warning that crashed through my head. I pushed it all away and let the desperate craving take over.
