Long ago, there lived the Four Beasts that guards the magical world of Mythica. These beasts were very powerful that they can take hundreds and thousands of magicians. The Black Tortoise that guards the North, The Vermilion Bird of the South, The Azure Dragon of the East, and the White Tiger of the West.

However, they suddenly disappeared from the world and leave no trace. Thousands of years have passed, these Beasts were considered as legends.


Not long after, a mysterious meteor shaked the world with it's dangerous presence. It releases purple spirits that possess the living organism leaving strange markings before their body. The Sphere of Tartaros, as they call it,  envelopes the world in total darkness.
Serenia, one of the dominating kingdom, is on the move to annihilate it. When Michelle Weller's grandfather died, he leaves her with the quest of finding the Beasts. Knowing that these beasts are now called as a legend, she started her journey of finding them.Will she succeed?All Rights Reserved

((Originally, Phoenix)) “Leave me alone!” Her form flickered in the dim light. The brothers shared a look. “All right,” one started. “Just let us say something first. We know you have powers; we can sense them on you. We can do this because we have powers too. We call it magic. If you want, we can show you.” “Prove it then.” ~^~^~^~^~ There was a monster inside of her – a dark thing that always tried to claw its way out, ripping her insides to shreds as it went. She found no relief from it, maybe because she had no happy memories to find solace in, nor anyone to find comfort in. And yet, Amber could be the catalyst to setting a series of events that had been prophesied centuries before, into motion, bringing together three more people – the embodiments of the Emblems – to bring magic back to life. But in this underlying world of Adepts, Demons and secrets within secrets, unlocking their potential will be harder than you think. ~^~^~^~^~^ So, this is my 2014 Nanowrimo story, which is basically an attempt to rewrite Phoenix, where it shall go through major changes in plot, characters as well as effects of my new-and-improved writing style. The fire elves are a very old species, dating back to the time of The Great War, centuries ago. Elves are distant descendants of the Goddess of Elements, The First Elf. She had four aspects, corresponding to each of the four elements. She gave her elemental powers to her kin, elves and humans and many other monsters. They were Demi-immortal, only to be killed by deliberate intent. They have familiars, linked to their very souls, which they bond with using an ancient ceremony. Elementals, the children of elves after centuries of descent. Humans are the most common species, and are generally magicless. Humans with magic are called mages . Elves are very rare, as all elves went into hiding after the Great War between the gods centuries ago. Occasionally and elf would leave home and into the world, but no fire elf has ever left their home and had children living on the mainland so there are no fire elementals. Fire elves have a bond with the dragons who's volcanoes and islands they shared, a bond that would last generations. In the current day, there is one tribe remaining: the Ryoko Tribe. The name meant "woman who is like the dragon," a fitting name for a tribe led by a head woman. This woman was lady Hyria Tatsu, the eldest of the tribe. Her apprentice goes by the name of Mina Ryoto. Star and Moon, two dragonets, would only bond with Mina. None of the other children were able to bond with the two dragonets. This was one of the reasons Hyria had chosen Mina. Only those of great legends could bond with two beasts. It would be a hard road for her, but being this special could turn out for the best. The world might depend on her one day.

With their help, they managed to drive the humans westward. Then the continent was divided into two parts, Xadia or the eastern magical land and the western kingdoms of humans. For centuries the border was guarded by the dragon king himself. the people called him Thunder, because his voice made the earth and sky tremble. But before the day of the last coming of winter, people exterminated Grom, and then without a shadow of mercy destroyed his only egg, his successor, the dragon prince. [Completed] Alien staggered to her, but then he didn't find it easy to look her. Her face had been blackened and she was writhering in pain, smoke issuing out her sweaty body. Holes started to appear in the white dress she was wearing. Her eyes, which seemed they could pop out of their socket anytime, kept darting at Alien as if she wanted to tell him something. She held out her blackened hand to Alien. Alien was going to touch it when suddenly her whole body burst into fire and turned ashes like magic. Alien stepped back, and looked around. There were nomore monsters, but the ashes in their places. Xerxis was the only villain that hadn't caught fire and her corpse lay unharmed by anything but the sword. With smokes wafting from the ashes and the tent that had caught fire, the place was stuffed with smokey mist now. Alien found it difficult to breathe in there. Now he was a free man he could walk out the tent. But before he left, there was something he needed to do.
