Mi Lu was abandoned by her family when she was 4. When she was a strand of hair away from death she was saved by an assassin by the name of Yong Mun. Yong Mun and his husband, Kiritsu raised and trained Mi Lu. When she turned 12, she was shipped to America due to concerns for her safety.
Mi Lu is now 14 and is starting her first year in high school. She had changed her name to Mia and is currently residing with Nate (Naito), her adoptive uncle. She had taken a fake identity, and is now living a normal life. Since her arrival to America, she has found it a lot more difficult to control her killing impulse, and has secretly been killing criminals under her vigilante identity, Arcanus.
