This is the Smiling Critters. A bunch of friends that go on adventures.
The Smiling critters consist of:
DogDay (Dog) (Wears a sun pendant)- Strong and Determined
CatNap (Cat) (Wears a crescant moon pendant)- Calm and loves to sleep!
Bubba Bubbaphant (Elaphant) (Wears a lightbulb pendant)-Bright and Brainy!
Bobby BearHug (Bear) (Wears a heart pendant)-Caring and Compassionate!
Crafty Corn (Unicorn) (Wears a rainbow flower pendant)-Artistic and creative!
Picky Piggy (Pig) (Wears an apple pendant)- Loves food and nutrition!
Hoppy Hopscotch (Rabbit) (Wears a lightning bolt pendant)-Energetic and sometimes impatient!
Kickin Chicken (Chicken) (Wears a star pendant)-Cool and confident!
This series will have the critters going on adventures, playing games, learning lessons, and living their everyday lives. There even may be a potential romance! I want everyone to know that this series is not relevant to the lore of Poppy Playtime it's fanfiction. I know in the original lore they were children who were made into toys. But this series has no relevance to it, also the characters in this series are NOT children.
Anyway I will be making 2-3 episodes a week!! I hope you all enjoy!!!

Imagine playtime co. running on nuclear.. And it goes boom. Oh! And there's another competitor too.. A special little bioweapon doing, to put it simply, some tomfoolery~.. DISCLAIMER: It'll get quite deep and serious into mental wellbeing and mental health in general + a few descriptions of bodily harm and injuries so any sensitive readers be advised. This one revolves around Bubba a little more cuz I noticed how neglected the poor guy is so giving him a villain arc would sound absolutely gas. Of course everyone will get screen time but in general just saying I'm making a pinpoint in this one. HEADCANNONS (gonna keep it simple): Narrator - God. Catnap: 6'0", gay Dogday: 5'10", gay Bubba: 6'0", straight Hoppy: 5'7", straight Kickin: 6'2", straight Piggy: 5'9", straight Crafty: 5'5", straight Bobby: 5'6", straight Writing fixations: Bold = thinking / screaming Sideways = explanation of surrounding / activity Underline = serious / manipulative tone -the fixiations here are quite inconsistent, you'll figure it out once you read on.

Hopesong Pegasus is the newest member of the Smiling Critters gang. She is content with her life with her Smiling Critter's family and befriending the children in playcare. what more could someone ask for? Unfortunately, her life comes crashing down as the Hour of Joy descends on the playcare, and now she is left to pick up the broken pieces of her life in the lower levels of the factory. Will she survive? or will she succumb to the horrors trapped within the walls of the laboratories. (There will be Dogday x reader later on, but it will be a minor pairing in the story)Concluida
Never-Ending Nightmare (Yandere Smiling Critters x Male Reader)
Y/N L/N was just a normal orphaned child but doesn't have many friends in his life and his only friends are the smiling critters gang made by playtime Co, a family friendly toy company that made that amazing toys like huggy wuggy, mommy long legs and the one and only poppy playtime herself. Y/N had a really had time sleeping at night as a dedicated and talented scientist decided to let y/n test out their latest new toy known as catnap, a purple cat that emits sleeping gas from her mouth that can put anyone to sleep, which actually worked really well as y/n gets to keep the toy from the scientist as a gift and became best friends with catnap as they both played together in dreamland along with the rest of the smiling critters. Y/N could never been happier until the catnap toys were recalled and Playco. was shut down after some "incidents" that happened behind closed doors. But then, many years later after y/n graduated college and is now 21 years old, he was dared by his so-called friends that were completely drunk as hell to go into the factory and stay there for a whole night as y/n soon found himself back at playcare, completely run down and abandoned. he eventually found the smiling critters in the factory that are all filled with so much joy to see their old friends back and now they don't want him to leave as they are determined to turn him into a smiling critters like them so he can be with them...forever. Authors note: just a heads up, this is NON-CANNON with any of poppy playtime. Instead, it'll be my own version of poppy playtime, and there will be some moments based around the actual game.Concluida

Dogday had once been a captive in the cruel world of dogfighting, sold to callous individuals who thrived on violence. Dogday, and the other critters, however, disagree with his beliefs. The cat punished them according. Dogday in particular took the brunt of said punishment, as Catnap nearly manages to kill him. Until something mysterious happens once Catnap uses his signature poppy gas. He finds himself falling unconcious to the poppy gas himself, as Dogday wakes up in a new, yet familiar world.Concluida

I was reading a fanfic for the Smiling Critters a while back, but the original creator mysteriously stopped uploading... So I got impatient and decided to take matters into my own hands. I'm uploading it here so I can collect feedback (and praise) on my work. I hope you like it! Dogday and Catnap have been best friends for the longest time. However, after he has an unusual prophetic dream, he resolves to win the heart of a mysterious boy he meets at on their first day. When ''The Smiling Critters'' got added into playcare, there were only seven of them: Hoppy Hopscotch, Kickin Chickin, Crafty Corn, Bobby Bearhug, Bubba Bubbaphant, Picky Piggy, and DogDay. Before they got added into Playcare, they went through a series of tests to check if they really got what it takes to take care of children in an orphanage. After a few weeks of getting used to eachother, they heard the intercom turn on with a man behind it telling everyone that the ''Smiling Critters'' was a HUGE success, and that they have an announcement to make to all of them. ...And what they heard shocked them all... So with the two new scents of Lavender and Valerian. Will they all get along? ''They should not have any memory of the procedure, but everything before that is still intact'' ''But we must forge onwards in the name of science'' ''Weather those who are beneath us understand it or not, END OF-'' I don't own any characters mentioned in this story except for my own oc just to make that clear.
