This is a story about a girl who loves music and basketball. She is just like everybody else on the outside maybe a little paler, but nobody bothers to notice. You know how they say it's on the inside that counts? Well she has a monster in her that makes her weaker and weaker until she slowly but surely will end her life. She tries to live as normal as possible. Her name is Macy Robertson.
There will be a guy who is a big part of the story who coincidentally walks, or, well, crashes into her life and maked a big difference. His name is Ryan Johnson.

[FAST PACED] [Note:this book may contain errors. So, please bare with me..] ~~~ Ava Rawlins is a 20 years old woman, who just recently got diagnosed with cancer. It sort of runs in the family, in a way. Her grandpapi died of cancer 10 years ago and it was a hard time for her whole family, because he was such an free spirited man and was always smiling through it all. She wished that she was as strong as her grandpapi, with her being transferred from hospital to hospital, because her parents wanted to get her the best medical help possible. When she feared for the worst and all was lost, she met Rivera Douglas, which was her doctor at Newtons Hospital, where her parents decided that it should be her permanent one, seeing how they liked what they saw and everyone was just good there, and the atmosphere wasn't all that dull, it was always lively, despite it being a hospital at all. Rivera Douglas is a 30 years old women, who has been divorced for 3 years now. She wasn't in a rush to get into any kind of relationship and was basically in a relationship with her job, so to speak. She loves what she does and helps her patients take their mind off of the darker things, especially Ava. She would always make Ava feel some type of way without her knowing it and it always made Ava feel like she wasn't even sick at all, which is why Ava had a secret crush on her, hating the fact that it won't last that long... What do you think will happen in this complicated love story? Will it have a happy ending or not..?
