As one of Velvette's designers, y/n never seems to catch a moment of peace. However, desperately needing the money, she has no choice but to dedicate her whole afterlife to her work. Things take a turn when Vox, whom she knows as a respected overlord and CEO of his own tech enterprise, offers her the opportunity to work as a designer under his company as well. Having accepted his offer, she quickly finds herself struggling to manage her job for Velvette all while putting up with the endless tasks that Vox assigns her with. As she adjusts to all these new changes, she develops a strong hatred for her new boss' guts as well as his egotistical attitude, one of which starts to become an obsession.
