A mermaid meets a little human boy as a child, she instantly falls head over fins for him. But before they can even say a word to each other he is taken back by his family, forcing her to go back home. 20 years later and by sheer luck the mermaid and the boy meet again, only this time she follows him back to the majestic city of New York City. Now she has to keep her fins a secret from her lover and human society while she stays with him untill her days on land come expire. But little does she know one man is after her, ready to show her fishy secret to the whole world. Will the mermaid be able to get her man despite them being different species? Or will she end up like a fish on a hook? Based on the 1984 movie "Splash", this time told from the mermaid's point of view.
