Alustra, the princess of the coldest kingdom called "Isolide" so cold that it would snow all day, all night, has to run not only from her family but also from herself after the day she turns 18. Being pushed to be someone she isn't her whole life has led her to be feeling exhausted and tired of existing, which she feels that her only solution to stop running is to die. On this journey she meets people that try to fool her into thinking that she is cared for but in reality she is only used, until she meets this dark haired man, with the eyes of a deepest color of brown named Asher whom she creates a deep connection.
