Firepaw proves himself worthy of becoming an apprentice. But life as a clan cat proves to be difficult and not just because it's winter and prey is scarce. His clan mates don't trust him, the deputy and some other warriors hate his guts, and many taunt and tease him for being a rogue in his past. Plus, there is lies and betrayal at every turn. Book 1 of the 'Ignite' series. NOTE: There is a violent theme to this book. It involves graphic scenes like battle, fighting cats, and death.
