When you're in a gang, born in it, not just toting guns for the fun of it, being forced to carry tradition on, life is horrible; for most people. Those people didn't have a Symira though, at least that's how Naaj felt. His bestfriend carried him through everything since they were in diapers. His life revolved around his brother and best friend, he could care less about money, fame, drama, shit even school. He barely felt alive, unless he was with those two people. So Naaj would be damned if he let anybody take them away from him. Symira on the other hand was different, she cared about everything and everyone. She couldn't help but to have sympathy, that was because she hadn't been through half of the shit Naaj has. She's never had blood stained on her hands for life, She's never had to stomp on her closest friends face, She's never walked down the hall in the same clothes for a week and hear the murmurs and giggles. Naaj and Symiras bond was different, completely different from any other bond. Their bond was unspoken, they didn't have to communicate, or perhaps simply Naaj wouldn't. You just knew once you saw Naaj you saw Symira. Naaj saw life in his eyes for the first time ever since his hands got stained once he saw Symira again, that shall speak for itself. With all the street drama going on, Symira, His left hand, got pulled into it. Can Naaj protect Symira, or will he let her fall into the street life? Can he choose to put her above the drama and choose to save her life over getting revenge and proving his name?

In life, we do things we regret, or that we wish we could wipe from our memory forever. At the age of 15, I didn't think I'd regret anything until I was an adult. I considered myself care free. I lived life one day at a time. Well, as much as a 15 year old can. But in life, there are also things that we can't change, that we can't forget. Circumstances change, events occur, and life as we know it is altered forever. For me, it was one night, that set in motion a series of events that I wouldn't be able to forget, even if I tried to. *************************** My life was spectacular, or cool, but I was content, and that's all that mattered. I wasn't overly popular, I wasn't the prettiest girl, and I didn't live in a mansion. I did have a great boyfriend, and amazing friends, and hell, I wasn't doing too bad in school either. But that all changed one night, as I was walking home at night. I witnessed a man murder someone he claimed was a snitch, something to do with a gang deal gone wrong. When I found my parents dead the next day in a serial killers wet dream, my naive self decided the best thing I could do, was run, giving up everything I loved. After 2 years, 3 dead members of the gang and a new school, I was found. When secrets are unraveled and with the FBI somehow involved, nothing is as it ever seemed.
