Under the influence of Luong Duy's desperate wish to become a mortal again, they must find the Heart of Purity to complete their transformation to become one again. During their search, they met a young girl, Yolotli Ba, who's an escaped child sacrifice from a land where the Heart of Purity is located. Yolotli joins Luong Duy on their journey to avoid becoming sacrificed, but little did she know that she is even on a higher chance to be on death's door by sticking with Luong Duy, who needs her for them to obtain the Heart of Purity.
As they traveled together for weeks, they met a hunter, Sihasin Hatahali, who came for Yolotli to bring her back to 'home.' Yolotli knew what it meant for her, so she rebels and sticks with Luong Duy, hoping that it would be good for her.
For that Luong Duy and Sihasin both need Yolotli to finish their missions, they are willingly to fight each other to death if needed.
After many disturbances in Luong Duy's mission, they'll have to wait for the next opening to obtain the Heart of Purity since the day for it to be easily obtained has already passed. Now, they needed to do whatever it takes to not miss the next opening. Otherwise, they can't ever become a mortal again.
On their travels, they unexpectedly bonded with Sihasin and Yolotli...
Will they be able to be once again, a mortal like this?
