Leading a monotonous life had left Elina bored, wanting more. She just wasn't expecting 'more' to come in the form of blood-thirsty creatures, portals to other dimensions and a war she'd been in the middle of for longer than she'd realised. With her role in a rebellion, abilities she'd been unaware of, a sacrificial lunatic and an infuriating captain, finding her lost mother in a world of magic might be more difficult than she thought.
