Samantha meets famous singer Demi Lovato in an elevator at a hotel. However, Samantha does not care for Demi's fame. When they meet, Samantha talks and treats Demi as if she were just a normal person, and not a celebrity. Samantha is sassy, witty, sarcastic, and always speaks her mind. She isn't afraid to give people her honest opinion and she certainly isn't biased by Demi's fame. Demi is intrigued by Samantha because she likes that Samantha doesn't care about her fame. Samantha likes Demi for her, and not because of her fame. She likes that Samantha wants to get to know her for her. She likes that Samantha is sassy, she likes that Samantha challenges her.
Samantha brings out the best in Demi. We all know about Demi's past struggles, however, we know nothing about Samantha's. Will she ever let Demi in? Has Samantha overcome her struggles, or does she still struggle with them? What are they, and what do they do to her relationship with Demi? Will it tear them apart, or will it bring them closer together?

This is a Demi Lovato fan fiction where in fact she is attracted to the same gender. If you are not comfortable with this than this book isn't for you. (I don't know how to describe this but here i go) Samantha Lopez and Natasha Hommers both have different dark pasts in their lives that has impacted their perspectives a whole lot. They are almost like the invisible string theory because they have had different interactions but now they have full met. The reason why they never really met was because they were either busy or out off town to meet but the finally met, due to their mischievous sisters who has planned to put them together. In a part of the story, Samantha's dark past comes back to haunt her but this time not only she comes to haunt Sam but she also comes and haunts Natasha as a "payback". As they are both facing this challenge, Natasha ends up in the hospital 3 different times due to Sam's darkpast. As well as, Natasha's dark past comes back with different circumstances which could potentially lead to her dying again like the way she almost died years ago. Natasha and Samantha have to go through lots of homophobes but they go through it together as well as their supportive parents. But in all of this, they do end up with a happy ending. They are both each other's favorite lyrics from taylor swift, "Even in my worst times, You could see the best of me" and "I once believed love would be black and white but it's golden."
