Gem Redeeming

This is a Wings of Fire fan-made story, me and a close friend and I made this together.

I don't own anything from the main story of Wings of Fire, only the parts we made such as fan-made characters, dragon species, and plot.
I write most of the story, and my friend helps but not as much as she works on the plot and making art/characters.

~Python has always wanted to be a seeker, a member of an elite team of dragons that bring outcasts to the haven of the Gemwing kingdom, hidden underground, safe from the other tribes. Now he is finally getting his wish. But all goes wrong when he is captured by Icewings. A mysterious guard there says he knows something about Python's father, who deserted him and his mother when he hatched. Python's goal is simple (kind of): escape the Icewings, finish his rescue mission, and find the truth about his father, maybe with the help of the dragons he's supposed to protect.
The pressure is on, but pressure is what makes gems into what they are.
Python just hopes he can survive it.~
