Jujutsu Kaisen
8 years after leaving your hometown to pursue your big-city dreams you came stumbling right back. It was unexpected, but you had no other choice - you needed a fresh new start after the trauma you've endured in Tokyo. You needed an escape, and nothing felt better than coming back home. On a journey to restart your life and become a successful coffee shop owner, you stumbled upon a strange-looking bartender - aloof expression with red-brimmed eyes, a unique-looking face tattoo and very pale skin. When you met him the first time it was pure coincidence, a passing stranger you may say. You thought nothing much of him, but then you started seeing him again. And again. AND again. Next thing you knew, he was the one who would be changing your life and setting you on the right track to heal. Showing you what true love is, and just how much you deserve it. And regardless of how different you both looked, you were very similar in more ways than one.

He wasn't supposed to be there. He didn't even like coffee. But his friend had bailed on their lunch plans, and the rain had started without warning, so Brent ducked into the nearest cafe with nothing but wet sleeves and a vague craving for something warm. That's when he saw her. Behind the counter. Laughing at something the barista beside her said. Her head tilted back just slightly, eyes crinkling at the corners, mouth curved in a smile that didn't ask for attention but demanded anyway. ---- He was younger. She could tell. Not by much, maybe five, six years. But enough. Enough that when he flirted, she didn't take it seriously. Enough that when he lingered at the counter, she chalked it up to boredom, not interest. She didn't have time for boys like that. Not when she's still healing from a toxic ex. But he kept coming back.
