The future looks promising
This is a sequel to my other short story (the past hurts). It's about the groups first experiences in the adult world, they have turned 18. Trigger warning, some brief mention of rape, some brief mention of domestic violence. Note: There is penis-penis sex in here, please bear in mind that I don't mean any disrespect, so if I do get anything wrong please just message me and I'll correct it at the first possible opportunity. Bright Young Thing
She was bright, she was young and she had only met him once. She wasn't supposed to happen it was a mistake. She was kept from the world of hidden things until she was attacked by one. It was accidental she knew it was because it wasn't meant to be. She was suddenly thrown into a world of chaos and things that are supposed to only exist in fairytales. Contained here are my submissions to complete the 12 Short Stories in 12 Months Challenge over at Deadlines For Writers (deadlinesforwriters.com). They generally fall under the urban fantasy genre and are shared here, as-is, without any editing, for posterity -- warts and all! This was my first year participating, and the first time I've ever written consistently and seriously over an extended period of time, so pardon the newbie mistakes.
