When to live is to fight alongside your own vices, Aster is constantly faced with his very own, the ones he wished to ignore so desperately. Can Aster face the past and become the protector the world needs? Or will he succumb to the temptation of self-annihilation?

Humanity, with its innovation and cultural achievements, has been a shining paragon amongst all living things in this world. However, with bright light comes with equally harsh shadows. Shadowing them is the presence of the hadal, creatures that manifested from the darkest corners of mankind's psyche. While the hadal were hidden in plain sight amongst its human hosts, few could sense them, and fewer can fight them. Vice wielders fought from the shadows to keep the world from crumbling from its collectively collapsing mind. It's up to Aster Andersen to fight to protect the world from the hadal crisis alongside fellow vice wielders.
