The Mikaelson family appeared 1000+ years ago exactly in the year 972 then Mikael and Esther Mikaelson's first child was born, Mikael and Esther had 7 children, one of whom died
the 7th child was killed because of the werewolves and so that their children would not die they decided to cast a spell so that all their children would live
the Mikaelson family is the first family of vampires under the name of the original or original family and there is still the Mikaelson family to this day
