Rain World and all characters in it are made by Video Cult, I do not own these characters or the game.

If you do not know what Rain World is, I heavily advise you do some non-spoilery research on it.

Heavy spoilers for the base game and Artificer's campaign ahead.

-------------------------------------
"The Rain shall fall, and so shall every scavenger in this damn wasteland"
"...Ok, but...do we HAVE to kill them?"

A story where a PACIFIST of all slugcats ends up in the decaying, rot filled wasteland known as 'Rain World'.

Your frail frame and sickly nature will do you no good here, and your vow of peace is nothing but a detriment to you.

Sick, starving and having a broken leg isn't the best case scenario in such a place, but when you see that tell-tale sign of another slugcat. A faint hope blossoms.

Or

A Pacifist (You) ends up in Rain Word and finds Artificer.

Notes:
You go by They/Them, so everyone can suffer while reading my story equally.

Artificer is female in this fanfic. I'm sorry male Arti fans.

Swear warning: The Artificer is not known to be very kind with words.

Suicidal Ideation: This will also be present, incase you have trouble with this topic, it may be best you refrain from reading this.

Blood and Violence: This book will not shy away from depictions of blood, due to me being pretty new to this type of story, don't expect a full blown detailed depiction of every injury, wound or malady that is present.

Music: Music will be offered to you. Most of it will be ambience, with the occasional fight theme here and there.

*this story is under MAJOR revisions, as of 7.18.23 some parts of this story will be changing, I don't want to take this story down completely so I won't be. There might be a couple discrepancies in the plot once I start, not many and the story will still make sense. Just simple things like switching between first and third point of view. THE STORY WILL STILL MAKE SENSE! It is still good, I just want to make it better, simple as that. I don't know when I will finish, but it can only go up from here.* My name is Tessa Stilinski. When I get angry I feel this power build up inside me, and when I release it, whoever or whatever i'm mad at gets thrown across the room, usually into the wall. Sounds fun right? Mercy & Fire

40 parts Ongoing Mature

Adrenaline pumped in my veins as I pressed myself against the large tree trunk, hoping the darkness would conceal me from my impending doom. My heart hammered against my ribs and cold sweat gathered at my palms and chest. His armor clanked and clinked, scraping against itself as he grew closer and closer... Then silence. "Come out little rabbit." The voice was deep and menacing, and I would've soiled myself right there if I were any younger. I couldn't see very well, but I could see what little moonlight that filtered through the trees reflected off a pale face. His gaze was like a hungry, crazed wolf hunting its prey. "Found you." *** Roselena is satisfied with helping her father run his printing business in her childhood village, but in the face of kingdom rising against kingdom, she finds herself thrown into a world of political tensions, magical beings, and the plot of a God. She struggles to define who she is, what she believes, and who she can trust. Worst of all, she seems to have been snared by a cruel King who can't seem to leave her alone. In a world going up in flames, Roselena can only hope to find mercy amongst the burning fire. Warning: Themes of SA, religion, human sacrifice, gore, and some explicit language.
