Rain World and all characters in it are made by Video Cult, I do not own these characters or the game.

If you do not know what Rain World is, I heavily advise you do some non-spoilery research on it.

Heavy spoilers for the base game and Artificer's campaign ahead.

-------------------------------------
"The Rain shall fall, and so shall every scavenger in this damn wasteland"
"...Ok, but...do we HAVE to kill them?"

A story where a PACIFIST of all slugcats ends up in the decaying, rot filled wasteland known as 'Rain World'.

Your frail frame and sickly nature will do you no good here, and your vow of peace is nothing but a detriment to you.

Sick, starving and having a broken leg isn't the best case scenario in such a place, but when you see that tell-tale sign of another slugcat. A faint hope blossoms.

Or

A Pacifist (You) ends up in Rain Word and finds Artificer.

Notes:
You go by They/Them, so everyone can suffer while reading my story equally.

Artificer is female in this fanfic. I'm sorry male Arti fans.

Swear warning: The Artificer is not known to be very kind with words.

Suicidal Ideation: This will also be present, incase you have trouble with this topic, it may be best you refrain from reading this.

Blood and Violence: This book will not shy away from depictions of blood, due to me being pretty new to this type of story, don't expect a full blown detailed depiction of every injury, wound or malady that is present.

Music: Music will be offered to you. Most of it will be ambience, with the occasional fight theme here and there.

Hospitals, doctors, medication, recovery, relapse... try again. (Y/n) spent her whole life in hospitals, grappling with uncurable illnesses and being born an extremely sickly fragile child restricted her more than it should have. Be it a chance to live normally to having the opportunity to go to school, make friends, have fun and be close to her family. The only thing she looked forward to at this point was reading new chapters of a certain manhwa she's picked up recently. In her final moments, confined to a hospital bed and tethered to machines, she pondered what could have been if she were healthy and free. Would she have been capable of achieving something significant? ...If only, then maybe (y/n) would have had her answer. The question lingered in her exhausted mind as she closed her eyes, her senses growing duller by the second. Awaiting for death to finally take her away.... Only.... only it didn't? Instead she found herself lying limp on the floor, tightly clutching a bloodstained dagger and shaking from the agony. Scorfull gazes wherever she went, a heavy atmosphere surrounding the manor she was stranded in, strange people appearing to sabotage her quest to uncover the hidden mysteries of this ominous place, a missing father, peculiar cousin and an uncle that causes unease merely with his presence. Welcome to I'm that kind of talent! A fanfiction written by yours truly out of delusion and simping where we will be following the extraordinary adventures and problems complicating the life of our dear mc! That for some reason found herself stuck in the world of "I'm not that kind of talent". What will she do when faced with things that are much bigger than herself? Will she manage to finally enjoy the taste of freedom that she so desperately wished for in her dying breath? Or will she instead fall into despair and never ending darkness under the crushing weight of what's to come?! Read to find out and as always stay tuned!

"What happened? How could you abandon me like this?" I asked, betrayal bubbling up in my throat as I looked upon the brother that I had assumed was dead. "DO you think that I wasn't thousand times more worried about this?!" Boo yelled at me, he looked hurt. I couldn't care. I made eye contact, though it made both of us feel uncomfortable and we knew it. "Then why did you leave?" My voice came out colder than I ever intended. Boo skipped a beat. *** Hi first fic, I don't care if you like it or hate it it's for fun! :] Basically, this is a DSMP AU fic because my big brain has ADHD and doesn't know what the hill it's doing. Swearing will be kept to a minimum but I don't know about the... TW's... I'll always put any TW's in front of a chapter to let you know of bad things. This book will include the following: ANGST ANGST ANGST ANGST ANGST ANGST AND MORE ANGST Blood Violence Super duper cool character stuffs Confusion 3 AM edits by an unprofessional (and insane... and dyslexic) editor One too many plot points and devices Lots of words across chapters of various sizes Random updates so that I can overedit and not feel as stressed (I'm in school, you're gonna just have to deal with it) SLOWBURN Character development Fluff Ships (maybe?) NO SMUT NO SMUT NEVER SMUT (But maybe a kissing scene, though I have no clue where this book will go, nor do I have many plans outside of just make it go forever. It'll stop when it stops IDK) Emotional turmoil HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

"Almost Green" by NUmaker

Strands of your mind cling together like web to a slippery leaf bathed in the morning dew. You have seen both heaven and hell, witnessed the atrocities of war firsthand, and imagined a better life in the deepest, most intimate corners of your dreaming spirit. The wishes for peace and certainty you have once so desperately longed for, now lay trampled underneath the might of your mind's vivid horrors. What was once so bright and lively, now cowers in fear, clinging to gone memories like a shipwreck survivor to some lowly piece of driftwood. From the depths of hell, you arrived victorious, grasping the laurel wreath high above your head. Unrecognizable, with your empty eyes telling a story of innocence brutally taken away from the child curling in shame in the depths of your empty soul. Almost green you are, curly head, having grown up with a rifle by your bedside table, never knowing peace and quiet. Out of the pan that was the Kazdel Civil War and into the scorching flames of Lungmen, where life flows by on its own accord, here, you must learn to live once more. So put on your best facade, Let the reuniting trumpets ring a wild, And allow the city to swallow you whole. Here we are, a continuation of my previous work "Goodbye Curly Head", which sprawled into quite the epistle (but it wasn't really a letter, it's just long :P). Summarized in the most basic way possible, it's a story about a twenty-year-old Kazdel Civil War veteran who goes to Lungmen and has some troubles acclimating to the steady life presented before him. Sprinkle in a too-good-to-be-true offer and a freshly established logistics company, and you get Andy trying to make it big for as long as his deteriorating mental state lets him. I'd say it works as a standalone story for anyone who doesn't want to bother reading the first part. For now, at least. As always, please, pwwease leave a comment, positive, negative, I LOOOVE reading and replying to comments!!

Sometimes shit happens. Hey, it's not always your day, it's alright. One moment you're riding high, soaring above these mud-riddled plains with the king of mercs by your side, another, you're running far away from the crater he blew himself up in. You've really outdone yourself this time. W's dead, there's angel blood on your fingers and something itches to grow out of your skull. To pierce those gray curls of yours and bask in the twin moon's soft gaze. Something brewing deep within, eager to dim that halo forever and shatter your wings. A piece of you that's always been there, always hiding and growling, waiting for its moment to shine. So, hit the lights, Andy. Give it some stage time. Let yourself live a little. Throw out that Lateran jacket, put on some leather. Grow a pair of horns, befriend a fiend. Forget Laterano, forget Lungmen. Kazdel is your new home. And your new home's where you rightfully belong, you little rascal. Hellooooo people !! Here we are, a SPIN-OFF story of my "Curly Head" series, in which Andy actually went on that one job he previously ditched and got himself into quite a predicament. In this one, I'll turn the angst-meter down, I promise. W and Andy, happy times. :D This is, of course, perfectly fine as a standalone work, I think, but if you're new and wanna brush up on the lore then you can do just that! Series starts with "Goodbye Curly Head", rest is pretty straightforward. Summed up: thirteen year old boy from Laterano ships himself off to fight in the Kazdel Civil War for peacekeeping reasons, situation turns to shit at the end of his tour, forced to stay in Kazdel and make money as a merc, meets up the first W's crew at the age of sixteen, circus-slapstick follows. Ps: I'm not giving up on "Almost Green", only taking a small break and also delivering some much needed fluff-ish stuff. Tell me you thoughts in the comments, I tend to reply to every single one of them and love reading through them all! Have fun!
