Summer Johnson is a messed up fourteen year old. Her life was wrecked when she was three - her parents split up. For some kids, this is just another hurdle to jump. For Summer, her whole world was torn apart. With her Mum in South Africa on a game reserve with her boyfriend, her Dad slowly drinking himself to death, and the people in her year constantly bullying her, Summer doesn't know what to do.
Until five boys burst in to her History class ... and her tattered world is changed forever.
