Soren (Angel) Romano, grumpy and mysterious lead singer and guitarist of "The Morning" is aware of the fact that every band has good and bad press, but doesn't understand when a popular tabloid bashes them for being misogynistic.

When this causes the band to take a huge dip in streams, they have to find a hot fix: a new member.

Weslie Evans, the sweet, witty, and sarcastic university student is ecstatic when she gets the opportunity of a lifetime to be "The Morning's" new lead singer. The band's new "Hot Fix" clashes with Romano when she takes his position.

The two aren't quiet about their dislike for each other.
