Holo is taken to a new home against her will. She is bought by a rich man who's related to Kagome's family. The duke, as some, referred to him. Inuyasha was taken in with Sota to his grandparents on his dad's side of the family. So, Inuyasha Holo, and Sota were about to embark on all kinds of trouble.
But all Holo seems to do is escape her kennel or her room, she won't stay put until everyone realizes that she runs because of a little girl, whom Holo helped to take care of after her late lover passed away, Lawrence did have a child with another woman, and it did put some stress on their relationship, but over time she forgave and let him go so he could be happy.
She became more like a faithful friend and pet to the family, but Holo helped raise his children most of all the little girl called Moe and her family lost her father in the mind, it wasn't good news at all, her mother had to remarry and fast just to help them out, but times were tough, and her new husband chose to say without his job, and times were hard and terrible when the Duke wanted to take Holo in, he offered to pay for her and gave them a high offer, so they had no choice but to take the deal.
So, Holo was sold to them, and Sota met Moe and Holo. It was the start of a lot of things, but she felt protective over the girl Moe, and she wanted to get back to her. But she did find herself in a tough place. She found herself loving the new family, but she could not accept this place, could she be in between both worlds? or would she choose love? or a love for a child is stronger than obeying an order.
But when the family is in dire need of help and the worst of it,
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
