Brianna Lewis is not your average teenage girl. In fact, she's far from it. She grew up in a town, not known by the government, called Purple Thread, Nevada, USA. She's not only lived with an abusive, alcholic, drug dealing mother her entire life, but now, at seventeen, is willing to run away from it all. So that's just what she does. However, she did not plan on running into a certain shirtless, gorgeous boy on her way out the door. His charisma and charm has her from the very beginning on her toes, but desperate to get as far away from her mother as soon as she can, she decides to go with him. But what she doesn't know is even though she decides to use a different identity on the bounds of her escape, this gorgeous boy has his own secrets too. They are both about to learn that their lives aren't as different from each other as they think, and they begin to bond.
