Buzz Lightyear sets off on his third mission into space after Earth receives threats from a US Battle Cruiser stuck far out in a distant galaxy, claiming that the Hornets had returned to finish them off, as well as the planet they were sent to monitor.

Y/n of Tangea, the next in line for the throne, has now been made aware of the proposal made by Emperor Zurg, and that if she does not marry him, her planet will be destroyed by his army.

What happens when Buzz's battle cruiser crashes on Tangea, not only leaving them deserted on an undocumented planet but also with possible hostile natives?
