What if every overblot ended in tragedy?
The luck that a mage would have to have to leave an overblot unharmed is immense. Oftentimes, overblots have a gruesome end. Overblots require swift and immediate action.
For the students of Night Raven College, it was far too late.

He knows he'll be dooming them if he falls, but he's tired, his body is breaking apart, held together on a higher being's whim only. He wonders if there'll be another to replace him.
