Katsuki became rigid and stared at Eijirou with wide eyes. How he could say he was leaving so far with such a calm expression as if it didn't matter made Katsuki wonder where he found the strength. He was acting like he wasn't daring to take and flip Katsuki's world, almost acting like he wasn't the world.

Katsuki slowly gathered himself and snorted at their idiot shenanigans, even if just for show.

It was decided, Katsuki would lock his useless feelings away, they would just get in the way of everything he and Eijirou would work for in the future.

This is a BakuDeku fanfiction. Their latest battle took a turn for both Katsuki and Izuku after defeating the villain "Nine" to the point where they were asked in babysitting Katsuma and Mahoro instead of helping their classmates with fixing the island. However, the two feel this push and pull whenever they are individually isolated but they didn't really acknowledge it much. What they did notice, tho, was how their behaviour changed drastically when speaking to each other, but nor Katsuki or izuku said anything about it, too afraid to bring it up. But alas, Izuku get's enough courage to ask Katsuki why he's being nicer towards him then normal.
