The Witness

Luna Roberts is an ordinary 18-year-old girl who just graduated from high school. She had big plans for her future. She was getting ready to attend college in the fall when her father suddenly announced that he was going to be getting married before she left. Her father claimed this new woman was the love of his life, and he couldn't wait to begin a brand-new chapter with her. Upon meeting Darla, her soon-to-be stepmother Luna knew immediately that she was in trouble. Luna never realized just how much trouble Darla was, until the night of her father's wedding.

During the reception, Darla pulls her to the side and tells her to head over and meet some mysterious man. However, she never gives her a name just a room number giving her a key to the room. As Luna opens the door to the room she witnesses something so horrible it would make your skin crawl. Drugged after witnessing a murder, she is taken captive by the killer for fear that she will talk. Cole Turner is a dangerous man. He's the underboss of the biggest mafia in the United States. Being the next Don has its challenges and Cole rises to each one. However, he meets an innocent young lady who isn't afraid to put him in his place. She suddenly captivates him and he decides to keep her all for himself. Does Luna lower her walls and let Cole in, or is this relationship doomed from the start?
