Author's Note: This turned out to be a slow burner-wasn't the plan, but there We are. Its sci-fi with a touch of mystery, dry humor, and a heavy dose of dialogue. Story and character come first. There's some sexuality, some violence, and a lot of character building (we can all improve, right?) If you're into immersive scenes, flawed people, and glitchy emotional beats, welcome aboard. A small town detective is looking into a rash of missing residents, a tip off seems to give nothing but empty promises and more questions, an odd girl and a mysterious red wolf that he meets seems to really flip things over. This is a scif-fi mystery with a pinch of comedy and some lude parts as well as action.
A Forest of Cryptids and Shadow
Sky had always been warned of the evil that lie beyond the forest, the dangerous monsters which had preyed on humans long ago. ~🐺~ But after a famine which had raged through his city of Anthropolis, causing the citizens to become desperate, even going as far as to kill their own kind, Sky finds that the only option he has left is to venture beyond the city limits and into the forest where the monsters he had been warned about all his life roamed. He finds that living in the forest is much more difficult than he ever could have imagined as he got captured by the Beastmen, held in the leader of their packs captivity, at the will of whatever the beast decided to do with him, though Sky soon found himself attracted to the Alpha of the pack of the beasts in a way he had never felt prior, filled with yearning and lust. And with the rising conflicts brewing between the humans and the Beastmen, Sky must face that resolution would not be such a simple task, and with the tension rising, the humans and beastmen just might cause the destruction of them both.Terminé

However, when he lands roughly on the dunes of a beach, he realizes that the world he has entered is not Earth at all, but a society filled with anthropomorphic beings. Thinking this might be the only thing that exists, he is soon confronted with an attack in their city, where they are saved by superheroes who happen to be anthropomorphic creatures with superpowers, adorned in costumes that symbolize themselves. It seems unbelievable that they are real. In my world back on Earth, they were fictional and mythical icons found in comic books, movies, and TV shows. After rescuing a superhero from an encounter with a monstrous reptile-like creature in the city, he retreats to the woods. He hides for about a year, living and trying to gather as much knowledge as he can about this new world and the superheroes it contains. He believes he is living an easy life, away from the foreign society. But after saving a school bus filled with anthropomorphic kids from a disastrous fall, ensuring they would not be left behind, he is discovered again. However, at his long-awaited hiding spot, he was in the woods.
