I was on tumblr and I saw this post: https://www.tumblr.com/ilikemsn/744717464633589760/i-have-a-fanfic-idea-that-needs-to-be-brought-to
It made me want to attempt to write the fanfic myself. (I don't know if I will follow through with it entirely) so here are stories of the gang learning cannon and my headcannon fire nation customs.

The Last Airbenders > Zuko
(zuko x oc) Born in the Western Temple, Nara got her tattoos at 11 years old, becoming the youngest person to ever be a master in Air Nomad history. Born with a true talent, the Southern Temple noticed her abilities. They had an "important" student on their hands, and now that this student's master was getting too old and frail to continue his lessons, they requested she taught the kid instead. She moved from home at 14 years old to live at the Southern Temple, and train the avatar himself. Life was great, she loved her student and enjoyed watching him grow. But after a certain threat, Aang ran away, and Nara followed him not knowing how history would play out for her and the young avatar. When she wakes up after 100 years, she's absolutely devastated by the loss of her family, and this new world of war to navigate. She meets two Water Tribe siblings, who join her and Aang's journey to master the elements and end whatever the Fire Nation started. The first few months of her new life is full of adventure and new beginnings, and when the journey leads the gaang to Ba Sing Se, the greatest city of their time, she meets a strange boy in a local tea shop that seems so familiar, but can't exactly place her mind on where she's met him before. ~ Zuko x OC Slowburn ~~~ #1 in SOKKA (4/22/23) #5 in AIRBENDER (4/24/23) #3 in TOPHBEIFONG (6/9/23) #3 in PRINCEZUKO (6/21/25)
Maya(Zuko X OC)
the 18 year old Firelord, Zuko, travels with the gang to a mysterious island where the people live a completely different life. A few things go wrong and they end up having to stay there for a while. From different cuisines to festivals, they manage to find a girl who seems to know a lot about the place. Maya, who takes them under her wing has secrets of her own. -------------------- (the show Avatar the Last Airbender doesn't belong to me. All credits to Nickelodeon) (this is just a fan-made extension to the show) (none of the artworks belong to me unless mentioned.)Complete
Water Lily in a Sea of Fire
Years before the Siege of Ba Sing Se, General Iroh discovers a young girl among the remains of a decimated Water Tribe village. Raised in the heart of the Fire Nation, she grows close to the young crown prince and accompanies him and Iroh on their adventures. ________________________________________________________________________________ **This is an old story I had written in my head years ago when the series was still on Nickelodeon, and most of what I had originally written out was dialogue, so I apologize for any lack of detail or imagery-I don't have much time to devote to it as I'd like. I've read quite a few fanfic stories out there and this one isn't very good in comparison, but I'll post it for others who might find it entertaining--it was certainly entertaining to write. Also, I understand a lot of readers don't like stories that follow canon. This one does follow the show for the most part, but eventually digresses, follows, and digresses again. Disclaimer: I own nothing of the world of ATLA, although a few characters were seriously harmed (or killed) in the imagining of this fictional story.Complete
The Concubine's Apprentice (an Avatar: The Last Airbender Fanfiction Zuko x OC)
An Avatar: The Last Airbender Fanfiction (Zuko X OC) "And lastly, we are free, but we are not our own persons." At this, the student frowned and looked up at her teacher. "How can that be free?" The beautiful woman smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes like it usually did. It was a sad smile. "You will learn it all eventually, little one. For now, we must practice your footwork." Mentored from youth by the most notorious entertainer in all of Fire Nation, Chiyo is destined to follow her path to greatness. However during the time of war and chaos, she must decide: Should she do what is right? Should she do as her mentor had always done? Or should she follow her heart? I do not own any of the characters except for the OCs I've introduced. I do not own the pictures used in the cover and those to be used in reference to future chapters. Any historical details I impart on this story is not entirely accurate and is based only on my limited knowledge of the subject. Anyways, please enjoy!Complete
Book 1: Water (Sokka X Reader Love Story)
You, the reader, woke up on a ship and discovered that you had been transported to the Avatar universe. You have to work with the GAng and figure out your past while traveling the world. But things are different. This isn't like the show, and you realize that you are the only one who can fix things. You find love, too, I guess. (I swear this has been troubling me for months. I keep thinking of that jackass Sokka and I just can't do anything else, so I decided to write this book until the feeling wears off.)Complete
Tales of Kataang
Well, now this has gone from a one-shot to a series of Kataang One-shots. These are all one-shots and they are all in order. I believe all of these could have totally happened in the series so, to me, these are all canon, so they are in my headcanon. I really like Kataang but It didn't get as much screen time as I wanted it to, so this is my way of coping with that!
Alara's Tale ~ Book I : Water
AN AVATAR : THE LAST AIRBENDER FANFICTION BOOK I : WATER "You-You're alive?" ~~~~ "Expecting someone else?" ~~~~ "Wait don't go!" ~~~~ "We were never supposed to meet." peacekeeping- zuko
A girl is born in the Fire Nation with the ability to bend three elements and a strong spiritual connection. It's me, Y/N. I was meant to be used as a weapon to destroy the Avatar but like Iroh says, destiny is a funny thing. I am now his friend, his spiritual guide, his Protector, and his non-biological sister. ******* "If honor is the most precious thing to me, then you are my honor." ******* "Your lips don't always tell the truth, but your eyes do." ******* "Because I love you....idiot" ******* "Don't let the past define you. This life is meant to forgive." ******* Beware of my horrible writing, it needs A LOT of editing. Also, I don't own Avatar, or the characters, plot, or dialouge. This is simply fanfiction. There's a lot of chapters, but they're kinda short. There's also some art here and there, all credits to the artists, I do not own any of the pieces. I also do not own the cover art, all credits go to whoever does.Complete
