Emmaline awakes one day, and with her newfound supernatural strength, breaks through the coffin in a panic. But now, all she feels is a strong urge to feed.

But what will happen when the young Salvatore realises what she truly is? What's going to happen when she unknowingly stumbles upon a certain hybrid who is immediately fascinated by her? What happens when old feelings begin to resurface?
