Hi, I'm Navia, a normal young black girl living under the star-lights of my hometown. Under my eyes, I have seen girls who look like me feel bad about their skin color, hair, and culture. Girls who don't appreciate the strength and beauty they have within. With my diary, I record star-strucking amusements I see and feel that is going on in my society. My dream is to change the way black girls view themselves, and empower them to show them what they are truly capable of!
