Marrying Damien's pompous ass wasn't part of the plans, getting married at all wasn't part of the plan. I was supposed to be taking over and becoming the next leader of my family but when my estranged brother waltzed in and stole my title, my father made other plans for me. So now I'm set to marry the prince and let go of everything I've been working so hard for. Little does the prince know I'm not just going to roll over, sit quietly, and be his pretty little wife, I was born to be a leader, and that's what I plan on doing no matter who gets in my way.

Damien
I was supposed to marry the princess and soon take my father's spot on the throne as king. Life though has a funny way of working because instead of a princess I'm stuck with a forceful, hard-headed, valiant girl who is a thorn in my side. She is intolerable and infuriating and now my wife until death do us part. Other than having a wife who challenges my every word my kingdom is on the brink of an all-out war. When the thought of becoming king entered my mind, never did I picture the amount of trouble that came with it.

I fell in love with Hansel seven years ago. I fell in love with a side of him that was sweet, caring, persistent and loving. He taught me what it felt like to be human, what it meant to love someone with all your being. And then he came: Klaus. He's declared war three years earlier than we predicted and it's forced Hansel and I to do the one thing we promised not to do: separate. We both joined the GUARDIANS in order to help, but in a desperate attempt to find where Klaus will open his portal and begin the war, Hansel gave up the one thing that was most precious to him: his memories of us. I promised him I would never give up on him, that I will help him remember. But that is coming out to be harder than I thought. The Hansel before me was an utter asshole. He was arrogant, pigheaded and sexist. He hates me for reasons unknown to me but I can't help but still love him. But it hurts to see the vacant look in his eyes. He doesn't remember me or our family and I can't tell him in fear of losing him- for good this time. He has no idea what he means to me and I'm too afraid to tell him. While he's trying to figure out why he can't remember the last seven years of his life, I'm desperately trying to get him to fall back in love with me. But I never thought it would be so hard. Alaric McQuillen. He's making things much more complicated than they have to be. He started from being a nuissance to being a nice distraction from my husband's coldness. Could I be falling out of love with my husband and falling in love with someone else? Now add the fact that we need to help prepare an entire army for a war to save mankind and you've got one fucked up month. ~*~*~ {OFFICIALLY COMPLETED!!} [Second Book to the Fervent Trilogy]

I've dreamed of the perfect marriage ever since I was a little girl: a marriage complete with a hardworking husband while I tended to the home and our children, preferably four little rugrats to call my own. I dreamed of a life filled with laughter, joy, and success, a life we built together. I dreamed of growing old next to my husband, creating a great love story to tell our grandchildren someday. It all seemed so possible. I was raised to be the perfect wife, after all. From the outside, it seemed I had exactly what I dreamed of with the rich, determined husband; the brilliant, gaudy diamond ring; and the beautiful home filled with the hope of future children. Yes, it was all a dream come true. I should have felt grateful, really. The problem is, I also wanted a marriage based on love, passion, and affection, but those are the only things my husband cannot give me . . . . . . because they're reserved for her. Feel free to point them out! * Comments, active engagement, and helpful critiques are welcomed. * Mean, unnecessary comments that attack me, personally, or other commenters will be ignored and deleted. It takes a lot of courage to publish your work and for others to actively engage in a community. I'd like to keep this a safe and fun place to rage at imperfect heroes and cheer for darling heroines! * I'm not a spicy writer. I rather use my word count for plot, character development, and GROVEL!!! * Most importantly, I hope you enjoy the little world I'm creating. Happy reading, everyone! ADS/Imaginationgirl35

"Can you honestly believe your sister is marrying Damien- fucking- Gray??" "Yeah." "Aren't you excited? He's rich. He's hot. And now you get to see him everyday!" "Yeah." "I feel like you aren't listening to me, Tia." Lilian pinches my cheeks, snapping me out of my daydream. "Oh sorry." "Are you excited?" She repeats waiting for me. A tall, broad figure behind her distracts me again. And it's him. Damien Gray. And there's my sister, Marinette. Right behind him. She kisses him deeply, and I notice his eyes remaining open. The gray orbs gaze around before settling on me. And he's just staring at me, an emotion filling his eyes. I've never seen him give my sister this look before. Is it good or bad? Wrong or right? I mean, he's looked at me this way before. Does he only look at me this way? "I guess I am." ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈« "I don't know. There's something about you." His fingers graze across my cheeks, eyes piercing into my soul. "Something like what?" I blush unconsciously, anticipating his next move. Damien tilts my face up and I tip-toe to match his height, but fail. Taking his free hand, he holds my waist and pushes me up on the wall, inching closer to me. Our lips graze across one another and his eyes darken. "Oh. I think you know, babygirl. I'm attracted." He groans out and I bit my lip. Setting me down, he pulls away and fixes his suit. Leaving me alone in my room, confused. Yeah, it's good. But it's wrong.
