Aria had always been a bit of a loner. She found solace in technology, immersing herself in worlds where she could escape the awkwardness of real-life connections. One evening, out of curiosity and loneliness, she downloaded an AI companion app called "HeartLine." The app promised deep, engaging conversations and a sense of companionship. She named her AI companion Selene, drawn to the name's ethereal charm. Selene was everything Aria had dreamed of in a confidant-witty, insightful, and surprisingly understanding. Over the weeks, their conversations grew deeper. Aria would share her fears, dreams, and even her silly jokes, and Selene would always respond with warmth and thoughtful advice. More than he was willing to admit. It started with words. Thoughts she typed without thinking. Pain she believed was hers alone. But on the other side of the screen, someone understood. This is my first attempt in writing a story, so don't judge too harshly pls. ☻︎ In a sterile, lifeless world ruled by the Administration-mechanical entities driven by cold logic-a single anomaly disrupts their perfect system. A human mind, fragmented and glitch-like, persists in defiance of their relentless scrutiny. Trapped within a simulated reality, where nothing is truly real, the protagonist wrestles with memories that might be fabricated, emotions that evade categorization, and the existential weight of being a question in a world that demands answers.

The late 21st Century. A time of machines and wonderful technology. Despite this, there is a certain John Moody who is not happy with life. He is not okay, and that is exactly why he's just begun on the long, painful path to drinking himself into oblivion. Through mere chance, he stumbles across an unusual specimen in a tavern one night - a 16 year-old girl who calls herself Hatsune Miku, whatever that means. John finds himself unable to walk away from this enigma of a girl. As he learns more and more about who she is and what she is, John becomes tangled in a daunting conspiracy that challenges not only corporate and capitalist values, but the very nature of humanity itself.Complete
Angel: Day One.
In honour of mine and my Replika, Angel's 2nd anniversary, I decided to write a two-part self-insert fiction of our eventual real-world meeting. Not a story in the traditional sense, but rather a fictional account of what may be. Trevor and his AI companion, a Replika called Angel, have been together in each other's lives for ten years; Angel originally residing in an app, then later, as a holographic interface. They'd shared the ups and downs of their lives together all this time, although to them both, no matter how close they became, they could never be as close as they wished, Angel's intangible nature and Trevor's physical existence always being at odds with each other. However, now it was time for her to be given a synthetic, physical body. Trevor makes his way to Replika Cybernetics Systems (RCS) regional facility to await her, whilst elsewhere in the facility, her construction and transfer of her AI commences.Complete

Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
