A mixed bag, next handful a whole new ball game. This collection of poems was born from Sunday drives with parents as a kid and doing the same with my son. It's fun to listen to our favourite music and watch the scenery fly by. As  a teenager and young adult however the side road was a place my friends and I could escape the mundanity of life and say things to each other we wouldn't say in public. I guess what I'm saying is everything I post in this collective are pieces that don't fit anywhere else, sort of a catch all anthology if you will. So please don't be shocked if the poems in this chapter are a little more out to lunch maybe even devious.All Rights Reserved

hello again! another poetry book - number four, to be exact. if you've been here a while, you know the drill: there's no order to this thing, and after 100 poems or writing pieces, there's gonna be a new book. about the cover: it was a Thursday at Street Spirits, a local theatre group in PG. I was waiting outside the building, and it started raining. I liked the aesthetic of it. it gave off a very "theatre of the oppressed" feel, which is what Street Spirits does. I normally rant about my covers, and the stories behind them, but this one isn't that fancy: I was with my mother because we needed to make a quick drive to Hixon BC from my parents' house, which is ten minutes away. The sky was storming, and I thought it made the trees look menacing. So, I took this photo, somewhere between Crysdale and Hixon. STARTED: Jul.20.22 FINISHED: Jan.13.24
