Karl's been struggling for a long time, his mother being a drug addict and his father being gone since his mother even mentioned the fact she was pregnant, he copes with it in ways no one even knows, his mother too gone to notice, and no friends there anyways.

one day, simply doodling on his school work, his teachers voice knocks him out of the silence he's grown to love.

"This is our new student, Nick. this is his homeroom, but, he needs someone to show him around real quick. it'll only take this period." She ignores the raise of hands, choosing the only uninterested one.
