In this Smiling Critters AU, the Smiling Critters somehow started a world-wide crisis by turning humans into Smiling Critters like them with the power of their own gas as a way to get revenge on the humans that wronged them after the Smiling Critters plushies were all recalled and their TV Show canceled.

However, one young boy had the courage and determination to stand up against Smiling Critters aka the Dark Creatures and save the world before they wipe out all of humanity and take over the world.

During The Hour Of Joy, DogDay finds himself trapped in a real nightmare; being imprisoned by CatNap and tortured for years. He never knew what became of his friends. He never knew if they really died, as CatNap told him numerous times during his torture, or if they managed to escape his clutches. DogDay believes his destiny is already written; He was going to die there, immersed in the uncertainty and pain of torture, unable to escape that hell where he was placed by the friend he respected the most. Everything will be solved with the arrival of a savior. Some angels who came from heaven and that will change the story we all know. (NOTES) -This story is just an alternate version of the true story. It includes my own theories, too.
