A romance suspense about a young girl who falls in love with a boy who is forced into marriage by a cult. Charles Leclerc is an eighteen year old student awaiting his annual train ride back to boarding school. While on the platform he observes the many young students and their parents say their last goodbyes. Charles is amused by the thought that the children's promises to call home weekly would eventually be broken as the years go by. Something Charles knows from experience. On the train Charles befriends a young french girl named Magali Etinne after the two are forced to share compartments. After a brief misunderstanding the two engage in a compelling game of chess until the train arrives at its final destination. Arriving at the school Charles and Magali go their separate ways. Charles, who is a senior, soon reunites with his friends, all of them belonging to the school's boys club called The Crimson Cadets. Whilst Magali struggles to adapt to her new environment, Charles is offered a seat at the club's council after a member decides to leave. Charles is not so keen on becoming a council member, although he feels obliged because of his legacy status in the club, his grandfather having been a member and council before him. Never really accepting the offer Charles is still made council and groomed to marry two fellow legacy members sister named Rebecca, in the hopes of remaining the legacy bloodline pure. Magali, who has grown a custom to the school's ways, learns about Charles' forced engagement and attempts to warn him about the ceremony being incomplete, that if he goes through with it again he might risk his life. Charles and Magali can no longer be seen together due to his commitments to the club, which makes it difficult for Magali to warn him.All Rights Reserved
