If there's one adjective Israel Grace Bell is described as, its not serious. She's your average popular high schooler, complete with great friends and obsessive fangirling. 

Enter Axel William King. If there's one word you describe him with, its serious. With crazy good looks and a mysterious past, he's not someone you would like to mess with. 

One crazy football tournament leads to an encounter between the two and there starts their ride as Izzy vows to change Axel and break his façade, and Axel delves deeper into Izzy's life to dig up secrets that even she does not wish to face.
